More Winter Fun

Jayakar got a real winter treat when he went snowmobiling! He was cautious at first, but Mom and Dad attest that by the end he was a real hot-dogger. He enjoyed his bursts of 90 mph speed! Alas, I had to miss the fun and spend a more sedate afternoon since no one wanted a baby to come that day! I did get a short ride in the bean field behind Uncle Bob’s house, which was just enough. Thanks to my Uncle Bob for providing the machines!

Winter Fun

After Jayakar’s sculptured beauty, Dad taught him how to make an American-style snowman on one of the few days when the snow was right to pack (turned out to be the final day we had snow fit to do so!). It was a fun family time, with Mom making a little ‘Mrs. Snowman’, and a snowball fight!

New Vehicle

Dad’s company replaces his vehicle every two to three years due to the high amount of mileage he puts on it. This is the first time they’ve given him an option of an SUV, and we are really enjoying trying a new type of vehicle. It’s not always clean, especially with the type of winter we’ve had. Melt and snow…melt and snow. We’ve had a tremendous snow year, as you can see by the picture of a typical ditch!

Here’s the final product that Jayakar turned his original snowman into! A pretty muscular ‘guy’, complete with six-pack abs. My husband is quite the artist!
