Made For Each Other

Ellie's youngest son, James, came with her, and he and Liberty had a good time together. While not old enough to play, they were old enough to observe each other (James is one month older), and James tried to hold her hand quite a few times.
They were precious to watch- and about as opposite in looks as you can get!

Ellie Visits

Ellie McNicol came from Washington State for a visit the last week of Sept. We had a wonderful time talking about our adventures together in years gone by, as well as discussing the current movements of our lives. As always, it was a bittersweet moment when I bid her goodbye- a reminder that time never stands still, and we never return to the past. That's why it is so important to enjoy the present that God gives. Thanks for coming, Ellie- it was grand!

Hangin' Out

Liberty still loves to relax on the couch, and stays upright for long periods of time while I work in the kitchen.

She loves her doggie pals, and has no fear, regardless of how giant they may be!!

Electrical and Concrete

The home progresses! Dad and I finished doing all the wiring of outlets, switches, and lights. Yes, believe it or not, I finally did something on the house project! Liberty slept for a few hours here and there, and I was able to squeeze it in. Then the guys worked on the outside, and got the patio, steps, and sidewalk poured.

Enjoying Life with Grandpa and Grandma

I am so behind on this! Liberty’s almost five months old, and I’ve still got some great 4 month shots to put on here. She’s in a perfect outfit with each of her grandparents: with Dad, she’s wearing a “Farm Fresh” and “Go Organic” sleeper- very fitting, considering Grandpa’s health bent; with Mom, the outfit says it all!
